Aperture ADU

This garage-to-ADU conversion takes a small footprint and makes it feel expansive through the use of open casework to separate spaces, rather than traditional walls. Existing roof trusses are left exposed to fill the open space with natural light through generous use of skylights. Storefront glazing is aligned with the interior spaces to allow for connections with the outdoors, further making the small space feel large by bringing the outdoors in.
